The Tuscan Region is famous world wide, naturally, for the wine production, for the food culture, haute couture and for it’s incerdible landscapes. Aside from the main wanderlust, there are also so many other aspects to consider. It is regarded as the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and has been home to many figures influential in the history of art and science, and contains well-known museums such as the Uffizi and the Palazzo Pitti in Florence, the Region’s Capital. Having a strong linguistic and cultural identity, it is sometimes considered “a nation within a nation”.
The main tourist spots are Florence, Pisa, Grosseto and Siena. Maremma and Chianti regions, Montepulciano and Montalcino (home to the Brunello wine), Volterra and so many other villages and towns.
